Old Mutual Securities Limited (OMSL) – a 70% owned subsidiary of Old Mutual Kenya acquired in 2010 – is a securities trading company licensed by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) for the purpose of facilitating trade on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). The company was incorporated in 1992 in accordance with the Companies Act in Kenya and commenced trading in 1994 as a registered stockbroker of the NSE with a diverse clientele consisting of mainly retail clients now numbering 40,000.
