Sameer Africa Emerges as Top Gainer at the NSE on Thursday

Sameer Africa was the top gainer of the day at the NSE on Thursday. The company gained 9.43 percent at the price of 2.90 shillings per share followed by Equity Group with a gain of 6.87 percent at the price of 35.00 shillings per share.

Home Afrika came in third with 5.88 percent at the price of 0.90 shillings per share. Mumias Sugar Company and Kenya Airways gained 5.56 and 5.00 percent respectively at the price of 0.95 and 6.30 shillings per share respectively.

Kapchorua Tea Company was the top loser of the day. The company lost 8.23 percent at the price of 72.50 shillings per share.

Sasini Tea and Coffee and NIC Bank lost 7.55 and 6.09 percent respectively at the price of 24.50 and 27.00 shillings per share respectively.

Total Kenya and Eveready East Africa closed the top five losers of the day on Thursday with 5.75 and 5.26 percent respectively at the price of 20.50 and 2.70 shillings respectively.
