Raila disputes presidential results ‘fake and fictitious’

NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga said they are ‘concerned’ rejecting provisional results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission as they are not backed by Forms 34As.

“The system has failed. It is the machines that are voting. These results are fictitious and fake, it is a sham. They cannot be credible,” said Raila.

“We demand the IEBC to produce all forms 34As,” he added.

“We have our results and they don’t match what IEBC is streaming on their portal,” he spoke to the media at 2am Wednesday.

“A clean credible process would by now have a dashboard showing all tallies from all constituencies to add to a sum total so that the country can know which part of the constituency has been counted and what votes are.”

Raila said, “What is going on right now is a sham and a total disregard of Section 39 of the Elections Act which requires the IEB to stream all Form 34s on the public portal. The Form 34s are not supposed to come after the results. They are supposed to accompany results.”
