Dear Entrepreneur, Here are Top 20 Things Money Can’t Buy

By Juma Fred / February 18, 2018

Life is like a riddle. It is always changing and it is always full of controversy. I have seen a rich man living like a poor man and he is always rich. I have also seen a poor man living like a rich man and he is always poor.

They say that money is the answer to everything. Many entrepreneurs are getting lost by trusting too much in their money. There are things money can buy and there are things money can never buy.

Here is a list of top 20 things that money can’t buy:

  1. Respect
  2. Well-adjusted kids
  3. Work-life balance
  4. Natural beauty
  5. Manners
  6. Common sense
  7. A clear conscience
  8. Purpose in life
  9. Integrity
  10. Good friends
  11. A long life
  12. Close-knit family
  13. An open mind
  14. A worry-free day
  15. Trust
  16. A new beginning
  17. Clean arteries
  18. A great idea
  19. An honest politician
  20. Peace of mind

You cannot buy respect. Respect is earned. It is a two-way traffic. You get respect by giving out respect. There is a difference between respect and fear. Sometimes you might think that people respect you when in the real sense, they fear you.

You cannot buy trust. Trust, just like respect is earned. It takes time to earn it and once earned, it is hard to maintain it. Trust is the only thing once broken, you cannot get it back. Even if you get it back, it will be like a broken mirror put together with cracks still visible.

Who has ever seen an honest politician? In the world over, there has never been an honest politician including those we celebrate as heroes. Every politician has his own personal interests to fulfill behind every move he or she makes. Money can buy a politician but it can’t be used to get an honest politician.
