Doctor Sues Uhuru Over MCAs Car Grant Issuance

A doctor not pleased with the decision to issue car grants to MCAs has sued the government. Dr. Magare Gikenyi wants the court to stop the implementation of the car grant claiming that it is illegal. President Uhuru Kenyatta is the one who gave the directive for the grant to be given.

He urges the MCAs not to twist the arm of Kenyans or any government office since they offered themselves for office without being strong-armed.

“…they should not blackmail Kenyans and other government offices to accept their personal issues choreographed as national interest,” he said.

He went on to say that the little resources the country has, should be utilized for other priority things and not car grants for MCAs.

This goes to show that Kenyans have grown tired of politicians promising them better futures once they get to power but end up thinking of themselves once they get there.

Dr. Magare appears to be one of those Kenyans who are tired of sitting back and watching the people in government enrich themselves while the common mwananchi suffers in silence but instead of fighting online like the culture has got to, he decided to take matters into his own hands and take it to court.
