CS Amina Mohamed’s Husband Dies In Nairobi

The death of Mr. Khalid comes a few months after the CS lost her brother Esmael Mohammed Jibril, a businessman in Nairobi.

The husband of Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, Mr. Khalid Ahmed died on Thursday morning in Karen Hospital after a short illness, the family has confirmed.

A family spokesman said the incident happened at about 5 am. Khalid, a father of two, was largely off public life while committed to his family and business.

The death of Mr. Khalid comes a few months after the CS lost her brother Esmael Mohammed Jibril, a businessman in Nairobi. He died while receiving treatment in India.
