KDF Announces Mass Auction Including Land Rovers Among Others

On December 6^th, The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) announces a mass auction of motor vehicles and other unserviceable equipment.

According to KDF, the mass auction will be carried out in a public yard in Thika Garrison, Lanet, Nanyuki, Mtongwe, Manda, Diani, and Kiunga. KDF indicated that it is auctioning hundreds of vehicles alongside other items which are considered equipment and general stores in an auction notice by the Head of Supply Chain

How to bid

From December 19^th December 2022, the vehicle and general stores will be viewed as from December 19, 2022, according to the notice. The vehicles include various models such as land rovers among many other types of cars.

Prospecting bidders were urged to strictly use the KDF website and the listed barracks as the only points for submission of bids.

KDF warning came against the backdrop of Kenyans who continue to lose money and property to auctioneers, amid tough economic times witnessed across the country

Kenya Revenue Authority announced mass action of vehicles of all types and models including Toyota Prados, Land Cruisers, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover Range, and Audi on September 2022.

Others included Suzuki Wagons, Subaru outbacks, Mazdas, and Toyota Hilux among others.
