The NSE 20 and NASI index declined by 16.02 points and 0.17 points respectively to close at 4,745.42 and 162.36.
Unga grew by 8.57 percent to close at KES 47.50 to become today’s top gainer.
Standard Group emerged the top loser, declining by 8.90 percent to close the day at KES 33.25.
The volume of shares traded edged up by 0.84 percent to close at 27.72mn.Total turnover rose by 1.74 percent to close at KES 569.80mn. Safaricom was the largest mover of the day with a turnover of KES 180.17mn representing 60.22 percent of total market turnover.
Foreign buys stood at 63.19 percent of total turnover, while foreign sales stood at 69.74 percent of total turnover.

Swissport Tanzania was the top gainer of the day, gaining 4.63 percent to close at TZS 6,330.00. Tanzania Cigarette was the top loser declining by 0.12 percent to close at TZS 16,500.00. Total volumes were recorded at 2.25mn shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 1.09bn.
