TransUnion Nipashe is designed to give you accurate, up-to-date information about your credit status in real time and most importantly, it is quick and easy-to-use.
There are only four easy steps that you will need to follow before starting the journey to know your credit status from TransUnion Nipashe.
STEP 1
Do you own a mobile handset? Simply text your name to 21272 or 21CRB.
STEP 2
The second step needs you to register by paying KShs. 50 through your phone. This is a one-off payment and the amount is sent through the paybill number 212121.
You will then be required to provide your Identity Number (ID) and this will be used as your account number.
STEP 3
You have now registered and what you need is to get down to business. The third step is now for you to request to know your credit status from TransUnion Nipashe. The report will be sent to you instantly.
TransUnion Nipashe will let you know if your credit status is good or default.
STEP 4
This is the last step where you can now request a credit report or a clearance certificate.
