Kenya Airways, the Pride of Africa which has been ruling the skies over the years, has introduced cut-price ticket deals for those passengers booking their flights early which has been dubbed ‘KQ Hot Deals’, and requires guests to buy tickets either 28 or 42 days in advance to save on the purchase price.
The move by Kenya Airways comes following research that shows that in Africa many travelers book their tickets one or two days before the date of their flights, unlike their counterparts in Europe and the Americas.
Further research by online ticket booking engine Expedia.com confirmed that buying at least two months in advance for domestic travel and six months in advance for international travel puts travelers in the best position to get a better deal.
Kenya Airways is also seeking to encourage its esteemed passengers to book their flights early to ensure they get the best deals for their travel. This is also seen as a move to attract more customers.
Kenya Airways’ customers will benefit from a whole new range of ticket prices and Kenya Airways management expects this to open up air travel to more people in the region and in the world.
The introduction of KQ Hot Deals is part of the airline’s commitment to enhance customer experience and the offer comes with certain conditions, such as a minimum or weekend stay, as is common practice.
