Kenyan Stock Market
NSE 20 and NASI index shed off 23.10 points and 0.42 points respectively to close at 3,913.51 and 137.86. Eveready went up 5.45 percent to at KES 2.90. Atlas Development declined 6.52 percent to close the day at KES 2.15 becoming today’s top loser.
The volume of shares traded today was 11.72mn a 13.16 percent rise. Total turnover also rose ending the day at KES 744.77mn. E.A. Breweries was the largest mover of the day with a turnover of KES 521.35mn representing 70.00 percent of the total market turnover.
Foreign buys stood at 89.22 percent of total turnover, while foreign sales stood at 78.21 percent of total turnover.

Uganda: The USE ALSI and USE LSI dropped 0.48 percent and 0.27 percent to close at 1,793.10 and 370.16. A total of 26,632 shares were traded today. Total turnover came to a close of UGX 93.87mn.
Rwanda: The USE RSI and RSE ALSI lost 0.06 percent and 0.01 percent respectively to close at 172.32 and 133.77. Total turnover came in at RWF 829,000 with 2,900 shares traded.
Tanzania: The DSEI and DSE TSI declined 0.70 percent and 0.32 percent respectively to close at 2,397.33 and 4,588.49. Tanzania Breweries dropped 1.32 percent to close at TZS 15,000.00 emerging as top gainer. Total volumes were recorded at 92,730 shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 108.76mn.
