NSE 20 and NASI index jumped 22.26 points and 0.71 points respectively to close at 3,950.97 and 144.44. Liberty Kenya rose 8.60 percent to close at KES 18.95. TransCentury lost 4.41 percent to close the day at KES 10.85, becoming today’s top loser.
The volume of shares traded today was 17.66mn, valued at KES 571.07mn down 42.43 percent from yesterday’s turnover. Equity Group was the largest mover of the day with a turnover of KES 180.62mn representing 31.63 percent of the total market turnover.

Africa Barrick Gold rose 0.76 percent to stand at TZS 5,270.00 emerging as today’s top gainer. Africa Barrick Gold rose 1.39 percent to close today at TZS 5,120.00 becoming today’s top gainer. CRDB Bank declined 1.21 percent to end the day at TZS 410.00 to be the top loser. Total volumes were recorded at 163,368 shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 1.66bn.
