This is the 11th year the event is taking place since it’s inauguration in 2004 and according to Tuskys chairman John Kago the event will be expanded to other counties in the near future. The Tuskys Wareng Cross country is just the start of the Tuskys Athletics series.
The Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon. Jackson Mandago was among the guests who graced the occasion. He pointed out that the county government was working on a project that will help in nurturing athletic talent from a tender age and also try venturing in other sporting activities apart from athletics.
