Wadi Degla Holding plans to build a luxury club in Kenya. This will be the first luxury club of its own kind in the East African region that will include sports facilities offering swimming, tennis, squash, FIFA approved football fields, basketball, handball, volley ball and health facilities including spas, gyms and dancing schools and complete with restaurants within the facility.

The club’s primary target is families because it offers services that cater to the family unit and sets out to offer a homely energetic feel to its customers that will always leave them satisfied and wanting for more. In addition to these club facilities, Wadi Degla have also successfully run high performance training facilities.

In Egypt, Wadi Degla Holdings has a lasting history and reputation of running various high performance academies such as the Arsenal Soccer school- Wadi Degla football club, Swim America, Wadi Degla Darwish squash academy and the Wadi Degla Tennis academy all run by international champions and that have seen club members participate and win in international championships. All these opportunities and goodies are coming to Kenya, to build Kenya, to empower Kenya and always embody the Kenyan spirit.

Wadi Degla Holdings now plans to introduce some of the clubs here in the Kenyan market over time. In Kenya Wadi Degla Holdings plans to put up eight branches spread around the country in Kiambu, Migaa, Athi River, Karen, Kisumu, Mombasa and Eldoret.

They also plan to extend to Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi after showcasing their success in Kenya. To start off this enterprising spirit, Wadi Degla Holdings plans to hold an official groundbreaking ceremony to kick start construction at the first Wadi Degla club in Runda in November this year. This move is expected to have a direct and drastic improvement on the quality of the sports infrastructure in Kenya.
