NSE 20 and NASI index gained 7.75 points and 0.35 points respectively to close at 4,002.63 and 144.39. Flame Tree gained 9.60 percent to close at KES 6.85. Longhorn lost 4.71 percent to end at KES 4.05, becoming today’s top loser.
The volume of shares traded today was 17.42mn, valued at KES 643.78mn a 19.71 percent decline from yesterday’s turnover. E.A. Breweries was the largest mover of the day with a turnover of KES 281.30mn representing 43.69 percent of the total market turnover.
Foreign buys stood at 62.76 percent of total turnover, while foreign sales stood at 89.11 percent of total turnover.

Tanzania Breweries declined 0.07 percent to end the day at TZS 15,030.00 to be the top loser. Total volumes were recorded at 6.15mn shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 27.89bn.
