Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Limited (DTB Kenya), on Monday opened its first digital branch and lobby, a retail banking initiative to offer customers convenient and easy to use round-the-clock banking services.
The first DTB Digital branch and lobby was opened at the Garden City Mall along the Thika Super highway along with a digital lobby opened at the Oval mall in Westlands.
The branches are conveniently located in either a mall or office complex or business parks and are digitally connected. They will provide 24×7 customer service.
The branches will offer real time cash and cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, and instant bulk cash deposits, instant account opening and internet banking.
The branch at Garden City will have both a digital branch open daily from 9am-5pm and a digital lobby operating 24/7 and is branch at the Oval, will serve clients with cash deposits and cheque deposits
“The digital branches use the latest technology to offer the most efficient and rewarding customer experience to achieve more,” said Nasim Devji, the banks Chief Executive Officer when she opened the DTB ranch at Garden City Mall.
“This is the next generation in banking technology with high levels of digitized banking; the first ever digital branches offering real time and direct credit on all deposit 24/7. Our focus has always been on improving customer experience and enhancing value for customers.”
