Express Kenya Ltd emerged the top gainer of the day at the NSE today. It gained by 9.76 percent at a price of 4.50 shillings per share. TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) Ltd came in second with 5.26 percent at 25 shillings per share. Unga Group Limited gained 4.17 percent, HF Group limited 2.50 percent while Carbacid Investments Ltd closed the top five category with 2.01 percent.

On the top losers’ camp, Marshalls (E.A) Ltd led the pack with 9.84 percent at 8.25 shillings per share. Uchumi Supermarket Ltd lost 9.62 percent at 4.70 shillings per share. Olympia on the other hand lost 8.75 percent, Flame Tree Group Holdings Ltd lost 6.67 percent while Liberty Kenya Holdings Ltd lost 6.25 percent.

Kenya Commercial Bank Ltd was the top mover of the day with a volume of 5.47 million followed by Safaricom Ltd with a volume of 4.07 million while Equity Group Holdings Ltd, Uchumi Supermarkets Ltd and CIC Insurance Group Ltd had 3.01 million, 1.00 million and 623,900 respectively.
