National Bank of Kenya Ltd emerged as the top gainer of the day. The lender gained 9.78 percent at the price of 10.10 shillings per share. Williamson Tea Kenya Ltd came in second with a price of 199.00 shillings per share and gained 9.34 percent. Other top gainers were Uchumi Supermarket Ltd, Liberty Kenya Holdings Ltd and Mumias Sugar Company Ltd gained 8.57, 8.11 and 7.14 percent respectively at the price of 3.80, 16.00 and 1.50 shillings per share respectively.

BOC Kenya Ltd was the top loser of the day. The company posted a loss of 8.54 percent at the price of 75.00 shillings per share. Pan African Insurance Holdings Ltd lost 6.43 percent at the price of 40.00 shillings per share. Other losers of the day were Sameer Africa Ltd, Atlas Development & Support Services Ltd and Unga Group Ltd who lost 4.48, 3.70 and 3.47 percent respectively at the prices of 3.20, 1.30 and 34.75 shillings per share respectively.
