- KNDI is specific to Nutrition and dietetics for the wellness of individuals in the Lifecycle, while KEBS have more general regulations and bigger scope in terms of Products and services.
- KNDI works closely with KEBS and all other standards bodies those that are relevant to Developing standards in Nutrition and Dietetics.
KNDI’s Mandate: The Kenya Nutritionists & Dietitians Institute provide for the training, registration and licensing of nutritionists and dieticians; to provide for the regulation of the standards, and practice of the profession; to ensure their effective participation in matters relating to nutrition and dietetics, to regulate the trade in food and food supplements, and for connected purposes.
