The African Biblical Leadership Initiative Conference (ABLI) will be held on the 27th – 29th September at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete.
The theme of this year’s conference, hosted by the Bible Society of Kenya (BSK), is, “Transforming leadership in Africa” (Romans 12:2) according to a statement.
“The main aim is to empower leadership at all levels in Africa with Biblical values which foster integrity in leadership. It was and is still held that leadership is one of the bans of under-development in Africa and that everything stands or falls on leadership.”
Registration for the conference is between KSH 9,000 and Ksh 30,000 depending on the category a participant wishes to be in and includes eight keynote sessions, three workshops, that will touch on: family and religion, government and politics, business, education, arts, sports, culture and the media.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Joyce R. Aryee, Founder of Salt & Light Ministries, a Christian parachurch organisation and an avid promoter of Ghanaian classical and choral compositions, Lady Justice Dr. Catherine, Bamugemereire, an Ethics Judge at the High Court of Uganda, Miss Caren Wakoli, Founder and Executive Director of Emerging Leaders Foundation (ELF), Dr. Samuel Tororei, commissioner at the National Land Commission, Mr. Samuel Makome , Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group among others.
The vision for the ABLI project is to empower African leaders with Biblical truths which will foster integrity in leadership and which would eventually lead to transformed nations that are founded on truth and characterized by love and justice.
ABLI consists of various events and resources that have been developed with the goal of engaging with a broad audience of African leaders from the public, private, church and nonprofit sectors.
