Michael Joseph, former Safaricom Chief Executive Officer has been appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Kenya Airways Board of Directors.
Joseph, the current Chancellor for Maseno University was one of three people considered for the position — replaces Vincent Ragwe, who who did not seek for a re-election.
Others who have been appointed include: Dr. Kamau Thugge and Mr. Wilson irungu Nyakera. Thugge, the Treasury Principal Secretary and Nyakera from the Transport Sector all were re-elected.
According to circular sent to Soko Directory, Ambassador Dennis Awori, chairman KQ all the three received 100 percent votes.
Pricewaterhouse Coopers were the Auditors who oversaw the elections during on 29 September 2016 at the 40th Annual General meeting.
