Home Afrika Tops the NSE As Deacons (East Africa) Tails

The top gainer of the day at the NSE on Monday was Home Africa. The company gained 9.09 percent at the price of 1.20 shillings per share followed by Carbacid Investments with a gain of 7.27 percent at the price of 15.50 shillings per share.

Crown Berger came in third with 6.82 percent at the price of 47.00 shillings per share. Kenya Airways and Mumias Sugar Company Limited gained 5.11 and 4.76 percent respectively at the price of 7.20 and 1.10 shillings per share respectively.

Deacons (East Africa) which was the top gainer at the end of the week was the one tailing at the beginning of the week on Monday. The company lost 9.79 percent at the price of 6.45 shillings per share.

Liberty Kenya and I&M Holdings lost 6.53 and 3.59 percent respectively at the price of 13.60 and 94.00 shillings per share respectively.

Sanlam Kenya and ARM Cement closed the top five losers of the day on Monday with 2.94 and 1.96 percent respectively at the price of 33.00 and 25.00 shillings per share respectively.
