Kenya Airways pilots through their body Kenya Airline Pilots Association (KALPA Kenya) have called off the industrial action they had deferred on the 17th of October 2016.
In a press statement, the body said, based on progress on issues raised, we hereby officially withdraw the notice of industrial action we had deferred on 17th October 2016.
The pilots had issued a strike notice demanding the resignation of the Chief Executive Office Mbuvi Ngunze and the Chairman Ambassador Dennis Awori. The chairman was replaced by the telecom veteran Michael Joseph.
