Mumias Sugar Company Sprints Back at the NSE As Longhorn Kenya Tails

Mumias Sugar Company was the top gainer of the day at the NSE on Friday. The company gained 10.00 percent at the price of 1.10 shillings per share followed by Flame Tree Group with a gain of 9.52 percent at the price of 4.60 shillings per share.

Kakuzi came in third with 9.25 percent at the price of 307.00 shillings per share. Kenya Electricity Generating Company and WPP ScanGroup gained 9.09 and 6.56 percent respectively at the price of 5.40 and 17.05 shillings per share respectively.

Longhorn Kenya was the top loser of the day. The company lost 8.51 percent at the price of 4.30 shillings per share.

Equity Group and Sanlam Kenya lost 5.88 and 5.88 percent respectively at the price of 24.00 and 20.00 shillings per share respectively.

East African Cables and Kenya Commercial Bank closed the top five losers of the day on Friday with 5.17 and 4.00 percent respectively at the price of 5.50 and 24.00 shillings per share respectively.
