Are you a drug addict? Certainly, you will answer this question with a bold NO but did you know that sugar, the sweet substance which most people love is eight times more dangerous than cocaine? Did you know that there are those people who cannot do without sugar even for a minute? Did you know that sugar is sweet but the most lethal of all to human health?

According to a research done by Queensland University of Technology, sugar is as addictive as cocaine eight times more and that its effects are similar to those of other drugs and that those who are addicted need the same medical attention as those addicted to cocaine.

According to the research, sugar cause massive brain damage and is the main cause of obesity among thousands of people across the world. In the United States of America for instance, 30 percent of the population is obese and 90 percent of the obesity is caused by sugar intake.

The research says that sugar consumption increases the dopamine levels in the similar way other dangerous drugs such as cocaine do.

People who are addicted to sugar will display mild states of depression and to avoid this they have to inject themselves with large volumes of sugar.

The most dangerous source of “dangerous” sugar are junk foods. Medics warn that junk foods are the major source of sugar and hence obesity and that people should avoid junk food as soon as possible. Foods such as pizza, cakes, biscuits have large volumes of sugar which is driving thousands of people across the world to their early graves.

Other dangerous sources of “dangerous” sugar are all kinds of soft drinks starting from soda to juices. According to medics, people think that avoiding real sugar and going for soft drinks is healthier with the reality being that they are committing suicide.
