For the last few days, I have been watching and listening to the utterances of the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, and I have concluded that whatever the man feeds on nowadays before taking on to the podium to deliver a speech must be lethal.
The Head of State has of late been losing his temper in public, becoming too emotional and losing his cool, bursting into flames and breathing fire and Kenyans are concerned. Kenyans are used to Uhuru Kenyatta being cool, friendly and approachable but his outbursts and attitude of late are making some to worry.
With the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, Kenyans are used of him being sarcastic, especially to the opposition, abusive and ‘dictatorial’ in nature but not his boss, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. The question many Kenyans are asking themselves is, what is troubling the Head of State? Is it becoming too much for him to handle pressure even as the next general elections approach?
It all started in Naivasha. The President had gone to open the three-day devolution conference that was 4th and the last before the next general elections. The President lost his cool when he started talking about the doctors who have been on strike for 95 days now. He accused them of blackmailing the government and asked, “Kwani hawa watu wanafikiri sisi ni wajinga kiasi gani?” (How stupid do these people think we are?)
Another episode of our President temperamental nature was witnessed in Turkana. The Head of State lost his cool once again, telling the people of Turkana that he did not care if they voted for him or not because the world will not come to an end. This shouting match between the President and the governor for Turkana Josphat Nanok, drove Kenyans to take on twitter with #UhuruVsNanok. Here are some of their tweets:

Governor Nanok just want fair distribution of revenue made from oil found in Turkana not from milk "found" in Ruiru. Calm down #UhuruVsNanok

Whoever is supplying those high things to our President nowadays is not removing the seeds #UhuruVsNanok #MaishaConcertFriday

What annoyed Uhuru is that Nanok told him how his family and him wants to privatise the Turkana oil. Which is true #UhuruVsNanok

In fact, Kenyans have now started asking questions as to whether the Head of State is always high on something. There has been such a rumor for some time now and the recent outbursts from the Man inhabiting the House on Hill seem to be confirming it.
Here are the confrontations between Uhuru Kenyatta and Josephat Nanok
Dear Mr. President, I know you like listening to Reggae music just like me. I would like to recommend this wonderful reggae song by the late legend Gregory Isaac which Says Cool Down Your Temper.
