Sintamei Nkaitole wins Ksh1 million Sinapis Business Plan Competition

Eriel Group Limited, a Kenyan startup that deals with honey harvesting and processing won Ksh 1,000,000 at the 2017 Sinapis Business Plan Competition.

Ms.Sintamei Nkaitole, the owner of the group on receiving the seed money for the business said, “She is grateful for all the mentoring and coaching from the Sinapis Group.”

This was the culmination of an amazing 4-month program which entailed 6 hours each week in a highly interactive and practical class at our partner’s facility, spend 6 hours completing work on an online platform.

She competed against other four contestants: Brian Gacheru of Pristine Linen and Laundry, Gideon Kyalo of Goodrich Schools and Lilian Nyaranga of Elimu Shop on Saturday at an event held in Nairobi.

The five were among the 152 who graduated marking the Sinapis Group’s 4th annual entrepreneur graduation ceremony and business plan competition.

The Annual Business Plan Competition award honors outstanding entrepreneurs from the program. The winner receives $10,000 (Ksh1,000,000) in grant-based seed capital, and proceeds to join Sinapis’ Fast Track Fellows Program (FTFP) together with other outstanding finalists.
