Dry Maize Retailing Highest in Kisumu and Lowest in Kitale

A 90-kilogram bag of dry maize was retailing at an average market price of 3,700 shillings across the country with the highest price being 4,800 shillings in Kisumu and the lowest was 2,500 shillings in Kitale.

A 90-kilogram bag of finger millet on the other hand was being sold as follows in selected towns across the country: 9,600 shillings in Kisumu, 9,000 shillings in Mombasa, 8,100 shillings in Eldoret, 7,500 shillings in Nairobi, 7,200 shillings in Kitale and 7,000 shillings in Nakuru.

A 90-kilogram bag of rosecoco beans was being sold as follows: 10,800 shillings in Eldoret, 7,650 shillings in Nairobi, 7,200 shillings in Kisumu, 6,800 shillings in Mombasa, 5,500 shillings in Nakuru and 4,200 shillings in Kitale.

A 110-kilogram bag of groundnuts on the other hand was being sold at an average market price of 11,757 shillings with different town having the following market prices: 14,300 shillings in Kitale, 12,000 shillings in Kisumu, 11,990 shillings in Mombasa, 11,250 shillings in Eldoret, 11,000 shillings in Nakuru and 10,000 shillings in Nairobi.
