All M-Pesa services are set to be unavailable for a period of four hours on Sunday, 27th August 2017 due to a planned upgrade.
In a statement from Bob Collymore, Chief Executive Officer of Safaricom, the disruption will be on during the morning hours of 12.30 am to 4.30 am.
According to the statement, the upgrade has been scheduled with due consideration of M-Pesa customers’ comfort to result in the least inconvenience.
“We expect all services to be restored and M-Pesa to be fully functional following the process,” the statement read.
