Plenty of Sukuma Wiki in the Market Leads to a Slight Price Reduction

A 50-kilogram bag of Sukuma wiki was on Tuesday being retailed at 1,300 shillings in Kisumu as compared to Nakuru where the same quantity was going at 500 shillings.

A 64-kilogram bag of tomatoes was being sold as follows: 9,000 shillings in Kisumu, 8,200 shillings in Eldoret, 7,000 shillings in Kitale, 6,400 shillings in Nairobi and Mombasa respectively and 5,000 shillings in Nakuru.

A 142-kilogram bag of spring onions, on the other hand, was being sold with the following market prices: 3,500 Mombasa, 3,000 shillings in Kitale, 2,400 shillings in Nairobi, 2,300 shillings in Kisumu and 1,000 shillings in Nakuru

A 90-kilogram bag of avocado was being sold as follows: 3,500 shillings in Mombasa, 2,200 shillings in Nakuru and Nairobi respectively, 2,000 shillings in Eldoret and Kisumu respectively and 1,200 shillings in Kitale.

A 126 kilogram of Mangoes was being retailed with the following prices in selected towns: 4,000 shillings in Mombasa and Nakuru respectively, 2,800 shillings in Nairobi, 2,500 shillings in Kisumu and 2,400 shillings in Eldoret.
