Car and General (K) kicked off the week as the top gainer of the day with 10,00 percent at the price of 22.00 shillings per share as Express lagged with a loss of 8.33 percent at the price of 3.30 shillings per share.
Longhorn Kenya came in as the second top gainer with 8.91 percent at the price of 5.50 shillings per share followed by ARM Cement with 7.55 percent at the price of 14.25 shillings per share.
Mumias Sugar Company and Unga Group gained 4.76 and 4.31 percent respectively at the prices of 1.10 and 30.25 shillings per share respectively.
In the top losers circle, Sameer Africa followed Express by losing 7.41 percent at the price of 2.50 shillings per share.
Kapchorua Tea Company, Total Kenya, and Britam Holdings lost 6.25, 5.68 and 5.45 percent respectively at the prices of 75.00, 20.75 and 13.00 shillings per share respectively.
Among those who moved the market on Monday, Safaricom Limited carried the day with a volume of 23.41 million with a market capital of 991.62 billion.
Kenya Commercial Bank and Equity Group posted volumes of 3.98 and 2.67 million respectively while Kenya Airways and East African Breweries posted 1.12 million and 681.800 respectively.
