Longhorn Kenya came in second with 6.80 percent at the price of 5.50 shillings per share followed by BOC Kenya with 5.26 percent at the price of 100.00 shillings per share.
Home Afrika and ARM Cement each gained 4.55 and 3.85 percent respectively at the price of 1.15 and 13.50 shillings per share respectively.
Eaagads was the top loser of the day. The company lost 10.00 percent at the price of 22.50 shillings per share.
Car & General (K) was the second top loser with 9.86 percent at the price of 16.00 shillings per share followed by Williamson Tea Kenya with 9.60 percent at the price of 160.00 shillings per share.
East African Portland Cement and Sasini Tea and Coffee lost 7.69 and 6.54 percent respectively at the price of 24.00 and 25.00 shillings per share.
Equity Group edged out Safaricom to emerge as the top mover of the day. The banker posted a volume of 2.60 million with a market capital of 139.63 billion.
Co-operative Bank was the second top mover with a volume of 2.31 million and a market capital of 97.40 billion followed by Safaricom Limited with a volume of 1.18 million.
Mumias Sugar Company and Kenya Electricity Generating Company posted a volume of 408,500 and 289,000 respectively.
