Kenyans are slowly embracing a healthy eating trend which includes having lots of fruits and vegetables in their meals. For that reason, there are plenty of fruits in the market like oranges, mangoes, avocado and even pineapples.
A 90-kilogram bag of avocado is retailing at a market price of 4,500 shillings in Mombasa, 2,250 shillings in Nairobi, 2,200 shillings in Nakuru, 1,800 shillings in Kisumu, 1,700 shillings in Eldoret, 1,400 shillings in Kitale and 500 shillings in Kisii.
A 54-kilogram bag of pawpaw, on the other hand, is being sold with the following prices in selected towns: 3,500 shillings in Nakuru, 3,300 shillings in Kitale, 2,600 shillings in Nairobi, 2,430 shillings in Eldoret, 1,400 shillings in Mombasa, 1,000 shillings in Kisumu and 700 shillings in Kisii

A 110-kilogram bag of groundnuts is selling with the highest market price of 15,400 shillings in Kitale and 10,000 shillings in Kisumu.
A 90-kilogram bag of green grams, on the other hand, is being sold as follows: 12,600 shillings in Kitale, 11700 shillings in Eldoret, 10,000 shillings in Nairobi,8,800 shillings in Kisumu, 8,100 shillings in Mombasa and 6,700 shillings in Nakuru.
