Telkom Kenya has apologized to its customers after the security of its main Twitter handle was breached and posted an offensive tweet.

The offensive tweet was noted after some customers raised concerns online.

“It has been noted with concern that a post containing offensive material was placed using this handle. We have removed the material and are investigating the source. We apologize for this and reassure of our commitment to the highest ethical standards,” read another statement.
