Four Kenyans Jailed in South Sudan Released

The four Kenyans who had been jailed for life in South Sudan have been released and will be expected back in the country on Wednesday.

The four Kenyans had been jailed in Juba for allegedly defrauding President Salvar Kiir of South Sudan.

The four Kenyans were Mr. Ravi Ramesh, Mr. Bonface Muriuki, Mr. Anthony Mwadime and Mr. Anthony Keya and had been jailed for life for allegedly embezzling of government funds.

Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Monica Juma has flown to Juba to receive them following talks between President Salvar Kiir and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
