Foreign investor activity increased by 54.7 percent in the session to account for 65.14 percent of total market activity in Friday’s trading.
Safaricom Plc (NSE: SCOM) held at the helm as the top foreign traded counter exuding net selling activity for the third consecutive session recording the day’s second highest net foreign outflows.
The desk was buying into Centum Investment Co Plc (NSE: ICDC) which recorded the session’s highest net foreign inflows for the second consecutive session.
KCB Group Ltd (NSE: KCB) recorded the highest net outflows in the day’s trading. The foreign desk logged net selling activity in today’s trading for the third session in a row this week.
The bond turnover levels burgeoned to 3.71 billion shillings (+144.06%) on trading 76 deals compared to 1.54 billion shillings traded on 49 deals in the previous session.
