A 115-kilogram bag of green maize is retailing at an average market price of 2,400 shillings across the country. Mombasa has the highest market price of 4,400 shillings while Nakuru has the lowest at 1,500 shillings.
A 90-kilogram bag of Sorghum is being sold as follows: 7,200 shillings in Eldoret, 4,800 shillings in Nairobi and Kisumu respectively, 3,600 shillings in Mombasa and Nakuru respectively and 2,700 shillings in Busia.
