Have you ever seen a man or a human being as tall as 8 feet? What if that man was also fat? He would look like a giant, right?
Well, according to Guinness World Records, the tallest living man measures 8 feet, 2.8 inches and the record is yet to be broken since 1982.
Sultan Kosen measured 251 centimeters or an equivalent of 8 feet, 2.8 inches in Ankara, Turkey, on 8th February 2011.
Sultan also boosts the widest hand span, holding the record t 12 inches or an equivalent of 30.48 centimeters as measured by the Guinness World Records office in London on 7th May 2010.
However, there is also the tallest living woman, Siddiqa Parveen from India. Initial reports put her height at 249 centimeters or an equivalent of 8 feet, 2 inches. Unfortunately, because of her health and Ms. Parveen’s inability to stand upright, it is impossible to ascertain her exact stature.
