The turnover at the Nairobi Securities Exchange rose to 760 million shillings during the Wednesday’s session.
This was an increase from the 514 million shillings recorded during the previous session on Tuesday.
The number of shares traded on Wednesday stood at 30.6 million shares. This was an increase from 16 million shares posted on Tuesday.
“The NSE bond market had bonds worth 1.3 billion shillings traded on Wednesday,” read a statement on NSE’s twitter handle.
