Sameer Africa was the top gainer of the day at the NSE with 9.30 percent at the price of 2.05 shillings per share.

Mumias Sugar Company was the second top gainer of the day with 6.25 percent at the price 0.85 shillings per share.

Home Afrika and Williamson Tea Kenya 4.76 and 4.52 percent at the price of 1.10 and 162.00 shillings per share respectively.

Uchumi Supermarket gained 4.35 percent at the price of 2.40 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa was the top loser of the day with 8.89 percent at the price of 2.05 shillings per share.

East African Portland Cement and National Bank of Kenya lost 6.54 and 4.19 percent at the price of 25.00 and 8.00 shillings per share respectively.

British American Tobacco and Express lost 3.84 and 2.17 percent at the price of 702.00 and 4.50 shillings per share respectively.

Equity Group was the top mover of the day having sold 6.59 million shares followed by Barclays Bank with 5.30 million shares.

Safaricom, Kenya Power and Lighting Company, and CIC Insurance sold 2.14, 2.02 million shares and 951,000 shares.
