The Nairobi Securities Exchange ended the week with Olympia Capital as the top gainer of the day with 8.62 percent at the price of 3.15 shillings per share.
Trans-Century and Nairobi Business Ventures gained 7.69 and 6.00 percent at the price of 4.90 and 2.65 shillings per share respectively.
Mumias Sugar Company and Eveready East Africa gained 5.88 and 4.65 percent at the price of 0.90 and 2.25 shillings per share respectively.
National Bank of Kenya was the top loser on Friday with 9.39 percent at the price of 8.20 shillings per share followed by Uchumi Supermarket with 8.16 percent at the price of 2.25 shillings per share.
Carbacid Investments and Sameer Africa lost 7.63 and 6.00 percent at the price of 11.50 and 2.35 shillings per share respectively.
Express closed the week with a loss of 4.17 percent at the price of 4.60 shillings per share.
The top mover of Friday was Safaricom PLC which sold 5.83 million shares followed by Equity Group with 2.39 million shares.
Barclays Bank and Mumias Sugar Company sold 2.26 and 1.02 million shares respectively while KenolKobil sold 642,100 shares.
