Co-op Bank allows parents to pay school with anywhere and anytime without necessarily having to travel all the way to the bank! This has been made possible through M-Pesa Paybill 400222, or through the use of MCo-op Cash or simply by visiting any Co-op Kwa Jirani Agent near you. One can also pay school fees by just dialing *667#.
This is how to pay through MCo-op Cash
- Log into MCo-op cash
- Select Other Payments
- Select School Fees
- Enter the School code/business number
- Enter the account to pay from
- Enter student number
- Confirm transaction
- Receive SMS confirming that the transaction was successful
To pay using M-Pesa, follow the following steps:
- Go to Lipan an M-Pesa (PayBill)
- Enter business code 400222
- Enter the Account Number as school code followed by # followed by the student number, e.g. 1059#123456789
- Enter amount
- Enter M-Pesa Pin
- Confirm transaction
- Receive SMS confirming that the transaction was successful
You can as well deposit school fees at Co-op Kwa Jirani Agent near you for free! Here, you will be able to get a receipt showing the Student’s Name, ID Number and the total amount that has been paid.
Parents can as well make payments for back to school shopping with their Co-op Visa Debit or Credit Cards at no extra cost.
