Former Nairobi Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe has landed a top job at Equity Bank as the Chief Commercial Officer, a new role after vacating the political limelight.
The appointment is yet to be made ‘public’ and the lender plans to announce during the investor briefing on Thursday.
Igathe resigned as the Nairobi Deputy Governor saying that he had failed to win the trust of his boss, Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
