Kenya Power and Lighting Company and CIC Insurance Group gained 7.44 and 7.29 percent at the price of 6.50 and 5.15 shillings per share respectively.
Top Losers
Trans-Century was the top loser of the day with 8.86 percent at the price of 3.60 shillings per share. Express followed closely with a loss of 8.47 percent at the price of 5.40 shillings per share.
Flame Tree group and Total Kenya lost 6.67 and 5.51 percent at the price of 3.50 and 30.00 shillings per share respectively. Eveready lost 3.57 percent at the price of 1.35 shillings per share.

Safaricom PLC emerged as the top mover of the day after selling 5.93 million shares followed by Equity Group with 2.23 million shares.
