Guinness to Unveil Iconic Look for Its Products at the Nakuru Fanzone

Guinness is unveiling an iconic new look for its 300ml and 500ml Guinness bottles and six-pack cans

The country’s leading stout beer is the media broadcast sponsor of English Premier League (EPL).

Counting 52 years in Kenya since its inception, the country will once more lead the continent in launching this new pack after successive past launches in 2013 and 2014.

The new packaging has been designed to be more distinctive and instantly recognizable, affirming the brand’s firm positioning as the market leader and maintaining its competitiveness in the beer category in Kenya with the contents remaining intact.

The new pack will be unveiled at the Guinness Fan zone event on the 11th August 2018 where consumers and local football fans will be treated to the ultimate football experience as the EPL 2018/19 season kicks off.

“Guinness is an extraordinary beer which is continually seeking ways to bring consumers together with extraordinary experiences.  Guinness has continued to evolve since it began in 1759 and this bold new look is representative of the Guinness brand today and the experiences we are providing for consumers,” said Kenya Breweries Limited Marketing Manager – Guinness Ms. Nduku Wamakau

Ms. Nduku added that this was their fourth Guinness Fanzone Experience and they were delighted to take it to Nakuru previous successful Fanzone events have been held in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Meru. It is in the Nairobi Funzone last December where the former Gunners striker, Thierry Henry joined funs.

The Nakuru Fanzone is expected to be more revamped as consumers will not only have a chance to enjoy the opening games of the 2018/2019 EPL live but will also have a village with stimulating extraordinary football experiences for consumers to enjoy, interact with the brand and get a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate and win instant rewards.

A food court where consumers will get to taste the great infusion of Guinness and food will also be availed.

The Fanzone is expected to stage big names in the Kenyan music industry with names such as Naiboi, Khaligraph Jones, Fena Gitu, King Kaka and Jua Cali, DJ Hassan, DJ Andie, and DJ Joe topping the list. MC Obinna will be the host for the event ensuring the revealers are entertained throughout the night.
