The National Land Commission Chairman, Mohamed Swazuri has been arrested in connection to the dubious Standard Gauge Railway compensations.
Mr. Swazuri was arrested together with the Kenya Railways Managing Director Mr. Atanas Maina with five others on Saturday morning.
Director of Public Prosecution Mr. Noordin Haji has already approved the charges facing the culprits over the compensation of four billion shillings for SGR land.
The reports shows that there were fake compensations that led to the loss of public funds. Swazuri is also connected to the Ruaraka land scandal.
