Kenya Airways was the top gainer of the day at the NSE on Thursday after gaining 9.47 percent at the price of 9.25 shillings per share.
Home Afrika and National Bank of Kenya gained 7.69 and 7.41 percent at the price of 0.70 and 5.80 shillings per share respectively.
Sanlam Kenya and East African Cables gained 7.32 and 7.14 percent at the price of 22.00 and 3.00 shillings per share respectively.
The top losers of the day were Deacons (East Africa) with 9.09 percent at the price of 0.50 shillings per share followed by WPP ScanGroup with a loss of 8.06 percent at the price of 14.25 shillings per share.
Express, Uchumi Supermarket (which was top gainer on Wednesday) and Kenya Power and Lighting Company lost 7.78, 5.26 and 3.89 percent at the price of 4.15, 0.90 and 86.50 shillings per share respectively.
Safaricom PLC dominated the top movers’ table after selling 14.90 million shares followed Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 3.41 million shares.
Equity Group sold 3.17 million shares while Centum Investments Company and Co-operative Bank sold 368,300 and 364,500 shares respectively.
