Home Afrika and Total Kenya were second and third gainers of the day with 7.69 and 7.55 percent at the price of 0.70 and 28.25 shillings per share respectively.
Sameer Africa and Kenya Airways gained 6.67 and 5.29 percent at the price of 2.40 and 8.95 shillings per share respectively.
Top Losers
Bamburi Cement was the top loser of the day. The cement manufacturer lost 7.98 percent at the price of 150.00 shillings per share.
Olympia Capital and Deacons (East Africa) lost 7.69 and 7.14 percent at the price of 3.00 and 0.65 shillings per share respectively.
Jubilee Holdings and Sanlam Kenya lost 7.02 and 6.25 shillings per share at the price of 450.00 and 18.00 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom PLC was the top mover of the day after selling 5.17 million shares followed by Barclays Bank Kenya with 5.11 million shares.
KenolKobil sold 3.05 million shares while Kenya Power and Lighting Company and Co-operative Bank of Kenya sold 798,400 and 617,500 shares respectively.
