The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has launched a Bible study guide that is set to help in the fight against corruption.
The guide was launched in an event that was attended by the EACC Deputy CEO Michael Mubea aimed at providing “moral compass in the war against corruption.”
Titled Integrity: Weapon Against Corruption, the guide is meant to guide and direct Kenyans believe that Kenya can be a corrupt-free country.
According to EACC, the document will help Kenyans understand “God’s position on corruption and his direction in living a corruption-free life.”
EACC is headed by the former Anglican Church leader Eliud Wabukala and it seems the man of the cloth is slowly turning the Integrity Centre into a church.
Kenyans took to social media to ‘make fun’ of the launch of the Bible guide but analysts say the man at the helm of EACC might be out to invoke the name of God into leading Kenyans to take corruption lightly, like a sin that needs to be prayed for:
What do you think? Should we start praying about corruption?
