Mumias Sugar Company was the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) with 7.69 percent at the price of 0.70 shillings per share followed by Olympia Capital with 6.98 percent at the price of 2.30 shillings per share.
Safaricom, Home Afrika, and Sameer Africa gained 6.74, 6.25 and 2.08 percent at the price of 23.75, 0.85 and 2.54 shillings per share respectively.
The top loser of the day was the East African Cables with 8.93 percent at the price of 2.55 shillings per share followed by National Bank with a loss of 7.77 percent at the price of 4.75 shillings per share.
Britam Holdings, KenolKobil, and Nairobi Business Ventures lost 7.46, 6.81 and 6.67 percent at the price of 10.55, 13.00 and 1.40 shillings per share respectively.
Safaricom PLC was the top mover of the day after selling 13.37 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 2.34 million shares.
KenolKobil, Equity Group, and Co-operative Bank sold 1.22 million, 928,400, and 647,100 shares respectively
